By maneuvering in just the right way, players cab to use their cars to fight off other cars and try to get the ball in the opponent’s goal. The Rocket League video game has become extremely popular, with over eighteen million unique players in the first year after it was released and actually becoming a valid competitive eSport.
Many customisations can be made within the Rocket League game. While most of these customisations are really just cosmetic, you can choose between a wide variety of car mods to make your car stand out from all the others. There are over ten billion combinations of car modifications possible so your car is most likely going to be truly unique!
The customisation options range from paint colour and reflectiveness to the trail that follows your car and even crazy little details things like what hats your car would wear, such as a sombreros or even a crown.
Of course, these customisations do not make one car better than another, so game players must rely entirely on their skill to compete with one another. Rocket League can be played in single player, online multiplayer, or local multiplayer.
In the single player mode, called Season Mode, you can play the game with computer-controlled opponents and teammates. You can also choose to play online multiplayer, where you will be matched with others to compete against with similar skills..
One innovative feature is that you can play local split screen multiplayer with your friends, as well, with up to four players per screen.
Rocket League is available on Xbox One and PS4, as well as PC, Mac, and Linux through Steam.
There are three editions of the game choose from: Standard, Collector’s, and Game of the Year Edition.
Standard Edition is the most basic version of the game, including nothing more than the full game. This edition is only available digitally, and is not available on the Xbox One.
The Collector’s Edition includes a bunch of goodies, including the Supersonic DLC, Chaos Run DLC, Revenge of the Battle Cars DLC, a limited art print, and four new vehicles to choose from. Rocket League Collector’s edition
Finally, the Rocket League Game of the Year Edition includes every vehicle and item from every DLC pack that has been released. Game of the Year Edition is not available on Xbox One and is digitally available only.
